Broadleaf Plantain

Broadleaf Plantain has large, oval, wavy leaves that are light green in color.  The leaves of this plant are rounded and smooth with no serrations.  This weed forms tough, leafless stalks that will grow from the center of the plant.  Upper parts of the stalks are covered by small beads that form a cluster.  The stalks of this plant can reach up to 15″ tall.  These stalks will produce tiny flowers from June to September.  Seeds produced from this plant will germinate in late spring into the summer.  This plant can also spread by root shoots.
